MINISTRY WITH CHILDREN (ages 0 to 5th grade)
The First Baptist Church of Redlands seeks to prepare our children for a life-long journey of following Jesus.
 
SUNDAY MORNING FALL THROUGH SPRING PROGRAMS (September 12, 2010 - June 12, 2011)
All classes take place in the Education Building except for Carol Choir
8:15 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Bible and Breakfast (ages 4–2nd grade)
A special time for children to learn about the love of Jesus and the importance of expressing his love to others through worship, bible stories, and singing. A light breakfast is served. Children meet during the 8:30 a.m. service and are picked up immediately following the service. Arts & Crafts Room (top floor)

Come and enjoy a home-cooked dinner with the church family and then join us for programs for children, youth, and adults! The menu varies weekly. Please place a dinner reservation on the INFORMATION CARD in the Sunday bulletin or call the church office.

YOUNGER CHILDREN’S PROGRAM: "CONNECTING WITH GOD’S KINGDOM"
(ages 4–1st Grade)
Lessons and activities will encourage our children to be wise stewards of God’s gifts and resources as a form of spiritual discipline. Starting in the Pre K/K Classroom (top floor of the Education Building)

OLDER CHILDREN’S PROGRAM: "CONNECTING WITH COMPANIONS FOR THE JOURNEY" (2nd - 5th Grades)
Our older children will have opportunities to hear from friends & members of the church family share how they have used their unique gifts and skills in their profession to bless others and connect with companions for the journey. Our children will be encouraged to see their unique gifts and how they can be a source of faith, hope, and love at home and amongst their peers. Arts & Craft Room (top floor of the Education Building)

Family Nights on the 2nd Thursday of every month (Birthday Nights)
Spend quality time with your family as well as connect with others on the 2nd Thursday of every month and have fun through games and service. Those celebrating their birthdays for the month receive a complimentary meal on this night. Please contact Deena Barwick for more information.  Arts & Crafts Room (top floor) and other locations.
6:45 p.m.–7:45 p.m.
 Thursday Night Youth Creation Co-op: We Are Baptists (6th-12th Grades)
Start off with a home cooked dinner with the church family then take the opportunity after supper to explore creative ways of interpreting the Bible including drama, art forms, music, and whatever else strikes our fancy. The Parents Class: "Connecting with Companions for the Journey" Geared for parents with young children, those expecting your little bambino to arrive in the near future, or those wanting to know more about parenting issues. Connect Grow & Serve with others who are in a similar season of life. Have fun with social events and learn from each other, guest speakers, and professionals regarding parenting related topics.

OTHER ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN

bullet pointOpportunities to participate in worship services through serving in the children’s choirs, as acolytes, and in special times of sharing.
bullet point Super Saturdays for children are held throughout the year to provide our children with opportunities to be involved in missions while also particiapting in crafts and games.
bullet point Monthly Family Movie Nights. On the 1st Saturday of every month from October through May. Check the Events page for current movies.
