She holds a Masters degree in Pastoral Ministry from Boston College and a Doctorate in Pastoral
Counseling from the School of Theology at Claremont. She is trained in theology, pastoral care as well as psychology.
Therefore, she brings both counseling and pastoral experience to her present work. Developing trust in oneself is

trust with clients who open their spiritual, religious lives, and relational needs. Christa has enjoyed being at
Christian Counseling Service (CCS), located at First Baptist Redlands, for the past 25 years where she began as an intern.
She thought that after completing her training and the doctoral program she would move on. However, CCS and Redlands
has become home. She has appreciated the people at First Baptist Redlands and in the community. Christa has found much
gratification from the work she has been able to do as she helped people to greater peace and happiness.
