Julie is Regional Director for Church World Service, overseeing community fundraising and educational efforts
(including the CROP Hunger Walk; Health Kit and Emergency Kits, which our church has assembled; and Blankets+ Program)
throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii. She works out of the regional office in Chatsworth CA.
Julie will share photos and stories about the work of Church World Service, with emphasis on the Haiti earthquake recovery,
earthquake and tsunami recovery in Japan, as well as work with communities affected by the drought and famine in the
Eastern Horn of Africa. This will be an interactive presentation with time for comments and questions.

The Fund may be used for those pursuing an undergraduate degree or a post-graduate theological degree.
Undergraduates may be attending a two-year community college or a four year college or university.
Applicants may be in any year of their degree program this coming Fall term and it is not necessary that they be associated
with The First Baptist Church of Redlands or a Baptist denomination.

IMMERSE, the national gathering of American Baptist youth, is a five-day event for high school and college-age
youth that will feature high-energy and transformative worship coupled with hands-on mission experiences.
Our location, in Washington, D.C. will provide youth with unique opportunities to do mission work in an urban
environment and to experience the pulse and energy of our nation's capital.
IMMERSE is for youth, ages 14-19, who are entering at least freshman year of high school.

The series will focus on 13 sessions produced by GriefShare. Each meeting consists of a video featuring some
of the nation’s foremost
experts on grief recovery as well as a group discussion and sharing time. Join us at anytime.

If you are unable to attend this date, please give at any San Bernardino or Riverside County location by calling (909) 885-6503.
Request for your donation to be placed in the First Baptist Church of Redlands’ account. The process takes approx. 45 minutes
(not including the time to enjoy the cookies, drinks and healthy snacks afterwards). In case a person’s insurance only pays for
a certain percentage of his/her blood needs, the Blood Bank will pay for the remaining actual blood costs only if our church
maintains an active account of 24 units donated per calendar year. Please contact the church office if you need
to access our church blood account.

Normally on the 1st Saturday of the month.
Come help with special projects and organizing their pantry.

Children ages 4 and older are invited to join their families for the dinner and program.
This is the time of year that we focus on the many things for which we are thankful.
It is with pleasure that the Worship Commission is planning a special Thanksgiving Dinner
to be shared by all at First Baptist Redlands. A traditional turkey dinner is served followed
by a time of sharing where our members and friends have the opportunity to give praise to
the people in our church and areas in our lives for which we are grateful. A vegetarian option is offered
